Biography
Daybehavior was formed in the early 90's in Stockholm, Sweden. The debut album :Adored was released in 1996 after signing with North of No South Records and Per Gessle of Roxette's publishing company Jimmy Fun Music. :Adored was released in 15 countries and received tremendous good response.
When the follow up album, co-produced by Kevin Petri was to be released in 1998, the record company went bankrupt and the release was canceled due to this, all international deals was lost.
The album was remade in their own Graplur Studio and in 2004 Have You ever Touched a Dream? was released through American label A Different Drum.
In 2012 the band returned with their third album Follow That Car! With strong song writing and lush electronic production topped by Paulinda's seductive voice, the band once again was acclaimed with stunning reviews in media and appreciation by the fans
The follow up album Based on a True Story was preceded by the single Change in 2015 and was scheduled to be released in 2016. Due to personal concerns the album release got heavily delayed.
But finally in 2019 the fourth album got released.
Daybehavior are:
Paulinda Crescentini - Vocals
Tommy Arell - Electronics
Carl Hammar - Electronics
Daybehavior produce all their material in their own studio Graplur. After abandoned analogue recording technology in the early 2000, the studio is still stuffed with analogue equipment like rare synthesizers and outboards.
- The playful touch in the video to Change in 2015 was the first taste of a video the band directed and produced all by themselves.
- As Paulinda is half Italian they from time to time record some of their songs in italian.
- Since 2010 all Daybehavior songs have been released by Graplur. 100% controlled of the band.
Based on a True Story contains 12 original songs.

This time we choosen to present the more laid back and sensitive side of our music. A mid tempo song with driven beat and of course Paulinda's sensitive vocals in focus. We've also used an instrument we only used a few times before in our music !!!

A few quotes from the press
"‘There’s Nothing Else’ exploits their cinematic sound to the max with a glorious dramatic solo while subtle guitars adding the tone of a spy drama soundtrack."

On the new album, ”Based on a True Story”, Paulinda Crescentini, Carl Hammar and Tommy Arell, will keep all the thrills, all the chills and the beauty and the sorrow and happiness from the last album. Still keeping eyes on the sound of today, with one or two nods to the past. |
